Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) in Boston
As a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC), trained through Healthy Children's Center for Breastfeeding and certified through The Academy of Lactation Policy & Practice, I am dedicated to helping support Moms in their breastfeeding journey. I understand not all women are the same and work to understand each Mom’s individual goals; providing guidance and encouragement along the way. I create a supportive and safe environment where Moms can feel good about themselves and proud of their accomplishments.
I am available for phone support or in-home visits. An in-home visit would consist of observing a feeding and then providing tips and suggestions to improve your experience. For more information regarding breastfeeding support and rates, email me at breathelifebalance@gmail.com.

"As if being a new Mom and enduring the challenges of breastfeeding isn't enough, the thought of having to add pumping into the equation was down right overwhelming for me! I was nearing my time of having to go back to work and put off pumping as long as I could, because I was intimidated by all the "rules" that came along with it. Kelly was incredible at putting my mind at ease and helping me develop a plan that suited my particular work day, and that allowed me to continue to breastfeed as much as possible. Kelly is not only an excellent resource, she is encouraging and extremely motivating which is exactly what any new Mom needs!" - Caitlin (Charlestown, MA) "My daughter and I were having difficulties latching on. Kelly's positive and kind attitude made my first-time-mom stress and worries disappear. She was able to clearly explain and teach me new breastfeeding positions. She was always quick to respond to any of my questions and made me feel like I wasn't alone with the troubles I was having. Her support and guidance helped me and my daughter enjoy the experience together." - Molly (South Boston, MA) "After being discouraged from a lactation nurse at my doctor's office that breastfeeding won't work out for me, I was pretty much in postpartum depression. Finding Kelly and talking to her was extremely helpful and encouraging. She gave me great pointers on what to work on, not only during her visit but before and after. I feel so lucky that I found someone so caring, understanding and supportive in one of the hardest moments of my life, yet the sweetest!" - Elena (Quincy, MA) |
